With an all-star cast including Gisele, Shalom, Frankie and Karolina, it was expected Alexander Wang's A/W 2012 collection was going to be impressive. The colour palette was dominated by black, white and a tad of oxblood(what we both know as burgundy). The dramatic mood set instantaneously. The fabrics were incredibly textural, from waxed suede that mimicked the leather-look to almost slippery lacquered wool. Outerwear was the real show stealer combining the military trend with minimalism. Fringing neighbored crisp collars and mesh turtle necks traveled further then expected. All in all the collection oozed that cool downtown reputation it's known for in a slightly matured and polished way.
